SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY… IT’S CONTAGIOUS! Those were the words expelling from the lips of everyone I met. It’s so true!! Recently, while in Greenville for our 2019 Harmon Family Reunion, I was blessed to meet and make so many new friends. Reverend Charlie Thomas, is the Pastor over the church, who personally welcomed us warmly. Rev. Thomas delivered a message from Luke 11:1-13; The Model Prayer. His spoken words were so enlightening and drove home the need for a life of daily prayers! Because like the pastor, when your enemy comes knocking, a heart embodied with God’s words will not turn them away. You will receive them with open arms and ready to serve in spite of your own feelings. So, if you are in the area, I encourage you to stop in and visit God’s people at John Wesley United Methodist Church. I know you will feel right at home!!
